Good News, Killers Fans: Brandon Flowers’s Solo Album Sounding Non-Weird
Did you assume Brandon Flowers was going solo because he had some insane concept-album idea the rest of the dudes in the Killers weren't able to understand? You can breathe easy: According to Flowers, Flamingo started out as a new Killers album and "became something else when I realized I wasn't ready to take a very long break and a couple of the guys were." Also: "It wasn't born out of a need to do something different or to get attention or anything else" and "I'm already talking to [the band] about when we're going to get into the studio again." Excellent!
